Ally Purchon B.Sc. (Hons), B.A. (Hons), Lic. Ac.

Ally Purchon has a B.A. (Hons) degree in Traditional Acupuncture from Oxford Brookes University.

She was awarded the qualification of Licentiate in Acupuncture by the College of Traditional Acupuncture.

As part of her training, she worked with some of the leading acupuncturists in the country. She is a member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society, abiding by their strict code of conduct and best practice, Ally only uses sterilised disposable needles, keeps up to date with a programme of continuous professional development and is fully insured. Ally is based within Rother House Medical Centre in Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire, West Midlands and also sees patients at Lifeways Natural Health Centre, Stratford upon Avon.

Ally made a special study of the research into acupuncture as a treatment for osteoarthritis of the knee. Her final dissertation was awarded a First and is available either in PDF format (click and download the file below) or it can be viewed in the library of national charity, Arthritis Care.
